ABOUT

I'm a busy mom.  But seriously, tell me what mom isn't busy!  Really though, I'm busy.  I work full time at a job I love, and have two beautiful children, who can be the sweetest little things....until they're not.  But no....really, they're sweet. 

I just started this blogging thing and I'm trying to muddle my way through it.  A little over a year ago I decided I needed to take control of my eating habits and get rid of the baby weight....cliché, right?  I know, I know.  There's just something about that baby weight and not losing it that makes you feel, well, yucky.  I had always considered myself active, I ran track and cross country in high school and college and still run and train for a half marathon every once in a while and went to the gym every day and worked hard.  Great.  Whatever.  Who cares.  I was still not losing baby weight. Ugh.  So, I got on track with my nutrition with 21 Day Fix.  Holy smokes, what a miracle worker that is!  I also wanted to tone my body, and get stronger.  I figured, who cares if I can run 10 miles if I can't do a push up.  Lame.  So, I added P90X3 in after my running workouts.  I chose that program because each workout is 30 minutes.  This was perfect for me.   By the end of the program I was doing pull ups and had run my fastest half marathon ever, which was less than a year after my second baby.  Whoa!  That's good stuff, so I kept at it, am keeping at it. I know it can do for you what it has done for me.
